Just because people are old, does not mean they are right :)I had to tell a disabled lady, raising her 9 year old grandson, who just lost her elderly dad who lived with them, that she had to find a new place to live.

So after serving notice you want to get a court date (summary process)FAST14 day would have been little faster (especially since they have a poor payment history)if they have kids or elderly and since Mass is so tenant friendly they might still get to stay for another 30 days for FREECash for keys for me involves a little more out pocket $$$you're going to be out more than the month they haven't paid by the time it works itself through court. maybe offer a months rent in different place and help with moving truck.you want to make appt to check out your unit in the meantime, people that don't pay also don't care about things like leaky faucets or repairsmasscourts.org has any tenant in Mass that has been a plaintiff or defendant inMass housing court .
