Cassidy,I wouldn't call myself an expert, but . . .A HELOC (Line of Credit) is usually a "revolving credit" model, just like a credit card (except much lower interest rate), with a fixed time frame (usually 10 yrs or so) using the home as collateral.  

The popularly believed slogans of life revolves around CA, TX, NY, FL, may be a lot more "slogans" than metrics of reality.

Concerns often revolve around issues such as lack of transparency, misleading marketing, and potential harm to property owners.

So I agree with your concept of proof, but would not go as far as wearing a body cam.
