Hi guys-I hired a contractor to do exterior and interior renovations at an apartment I own.

You don't want to do interior finish work and then find out that the roof is unsound, causing water damage to the work in progress.

., beetdiggers, played basketball, went to Kansas U, and went on to be Director of Public Affairs for the National Park Service; Interior, in DC.....we love our parks...i want to know it better and invest there..its another world to me, as my whole life has been east coast.

As far as the guys who check the interior, they will read your signs and stop visiting; and you hope they operate independently of the lawn service ;)

House will need cosmetic repairs such as carpet, interior paint, update bathrooms.

Sounds like the interior damage is minimal.

Through the last few projects I have found a great plumber, electrician, drywall crew, and a roofing/siding contractor (Happy to provide referrals) but I haven't been able to find the right person(s) to frame walls, install flooring, hang interior doors and trim, do kitchen installs, etc..

With little structural work needed, the $200,000 renovation budget will mostly be dedicated to completely updating the kitchens and bathrooms, refinishing the existing hardwood floors, removing wallpaper and interior painting, replacing windows and repairing the back decks.
