I am just wondering if it is an okay plan to look for a place that I am comfortable in even if some other less expensive options provide better cash flow in an area that I do not want to live or a house that has not been updated enough for my tastes?

I know this is a lot at once, trying to give you a little taste of what you are up against so you hire the proper professionals to guide you, but hope this helps some.

This may be in bad taste, but I'm working to create a real estate investor meetup in the Fort Hood/Killeen area.

I was not thinking about real estate for a long time because our last investment, Austin,TX which we sold back in 2008, left a bad taste in our mouths.

I can't put my finger on it, but I just get such a bad taste in my mouth with these meetups.The first meet up I went to I introduced myself and said I want to invest in entire CT.
