The general consensus of the crowd was that the country was being stolen from them and they were being taxed to death!

I recently renovated an art deco style house where someone had stolen all of the glass doorknobs.

Not very easy in this business to have an accent and look lie a foreigner, dealing with pissed off angry homeowners  that are older, conservative and grumpy because they need to sell.But The Mighty MSOOTKAUG is awesome and kept on hustling.Needless to say that 2nd deal got stolen from me due to that damn Noreen Miller!  

My soon-to-be first property isn't located in an area where packages can be left by the door and not be randomly stolen.

-Plumbing stolen (most have experienced this).

They may get stolen or vandalized, and installing them will make you a target of retaliation.

This is my first project so i am a bit nervous dealing with a contractor and not being able to stay on top of him/her to make sure i dont have my money stolen and the job is getting done.

I was afraid the bulbs would get stolen when folks moved out, but apparently it's not really an issue since so many folks use them. 

You might end up spending time managing this and the drama ("my stuff was stolen from my storage").Now, if your plan is to rent the entire basement as one big storage area to just a single party, and there is an outside entrance so that party does not have to be living there - then maybe that could work.
