A lot of states nowadays have Meghan's Law where the whole community will be notified of a presence of a sex offender and also restrictions on where such a person may live (not within so and so distance of a school, church etc). 

What is the process for buying a commercial building or a church?

Perhaps I should see if any churches in her area would be willing to do so.

If it is not, then certain factors also affect like nearby school, church, grocery store, the plaza, mall, etc.
