Or do we purchase another multi family and rack up some passive income from that, before buying ourselves a home?

I have two duplexes in Victorian Village that need alot of TLC from tuckpointing the exterior brick, replacing wooden box gutters, refinishing all hardwoods, updating all electric, and replacing kitchens and baths.  

Smaller windows, simple framing (like old wooden)... learn to measure, a 4 yr old can do it, check measurements 3 times, number windows.

Up until about 2 months ago I have been completely uninterested in finances/budgeting/investing .. and as a result racked up some debt.

It was nerve-racking, but I did it  (talk to potential sellers and walk their property) and can say I actually enjoyed it.

The company says that they will come out and remove the panels and inverter, leaving the footings and rack system in place, thereby avoiding responsibility for repairing the roof.

As of right now, the kitchen is entirely wooden, which from what I've heard looks and is undesirable.The carpet as well seems to have taken a lot of damage so how would I go about repairing that, or when should I think about changing the flooring to porcelain or tile (considering it's in the kitchen)?

or just like you said before, wait for true price and rack up.   

Can you not put a wooden fence around the place to make it more renter friendly.
