Having parking, a bit quiter area thats a short drive to beaches/restuaraunts/down town where guests can head to have fun.Also one thing we really excelled at was having a themed style with furnishing in our other STR.

Some local favorites would be places like Dick's Last Resort [sassy waiters is the theme], Silo, The Fig Tree, & the Hard Rock Cafe is usually a pretty good time.The Riverwalk is a bit more commercial than it used to be but still has enough San Antonio feel left in it to have a good time.Enjoy!

That’s very interesting I have a 2 bedroom 3 bath home with a complete Movie room in a furnace 1200 sq ft basement with the movie Theater room on one side and on the other side of 50s Diner’s theme room with pool table giant air hockey machine and other equipment as well as exercise equipment I also have a finished guest home one bedroom one full bath with kitchen and living area on the same property which also includes a $30,000 dock with boat lift nice setting area and tackle shop room on Lake Taneycomo the main home has a very nice size deck with a beautiful view of the lake breathtaking in the winter in Branson Missouri with no homeowners fees or any other fees except for a small $75 a year fee for road maintenance around the lake area that is in Branson Missouri 

On some of the podcasts I've watched, a common theme is that it is good to invest in liberal areas for multifamily.

So yeah, I agree with the general theme that wages aren't keeping past with the cost of education, car loans, healthcare and in some areas, housing.Personally I believe our society is going to start to return to a more entrepreneurial place, like it was maybe 100 years ago.

I personally don't have anything in Florida just yet, but have looked in the Kissimmee area since my eventual target would be the theme parks. 

I agree that the theme park like water slides at Encore are amazing, but I think you would lose bookings based on not having them available.

The common theme was they "don't get involved" in that sort of thing.

I've seen everything restaurants (with a bar in the confessional), condos, retail stores, beer halls, a YMCA, fitness studios, all in converted churches, but the theme of the business corresponded with the venue.
