If they beat up the walls, it can jar the electrical in strange places and cause serious issues.

They will even spray the walls.

Our experience has lead us to using closed cell spray foam insulation; we find it the easiest and most effective way to insulate and air seal a balloon framed house.

I had a pest control company come and inspect an ant problem in my 4 plex and it turns out that it is pretty severe and they recommend spraying the crawl space and exterior of the unit.

Unfortunately, if the urine is in the carpet, pad, and sub-floor, spraying OdorXIt on top of the carpet probably isn't going to do the job.NEVER put a pad under the carpet in a rental!

We also take the fugly brass light fixtures from the Habitate store and spray paint them, this works great!

It can be hard to straddle the line sometimes, but I've been burned by other tenants as well (painting, extra roomies with paid utilities, spraying cats) so in my opinion if its a fairly easy place to rent, why stress over someone who is already causing you angst?
