I'm not sure if you read any of my other earlier replies, but my son started in the wholesale game and has begun building relationships with other wholesalers and investors.

I am trying to track down whoever owns the property to purchase it.Does anyone have any experience on other ways to find out if foreclosure proceedings have begun? 

Nevertheless, proper process has begun and they are to hopefully move out by next Saturday, if not, then we will have to use legal force. 

I have been pre-approved for a loan and begun my search.

I have also begun driving for dollars, have a list of addresses, and will begin mailing campaigns (driving and listsource) in the next week.

Account ClosedI guess I'm not a "real" landlord, because I've never found all the damage in a rental unit on a first pass inspection - it's only after the turnover process has begun that I find the "skeletons" I would have missed had I assured my tenant that what I saw in that 45 min inspection was all they would be charged for.  

Although Malden has that reputation, it has begun to change for the better for sure.
