It's nice when you can find a gem below market value!

Welcome I personally thing Detroit is a gem for investors especially newbie's that want to get their feet wet.

I feel like there are many hidden gems with lots of passive income potential.Thank you in advance :)

She's a gem in the industry.

Auction sales happen all the time and allow minimums down and you can get financing etc.In Georgia at the foreclosure at the court house steps you have to have all cash right then.Sure cashiers check etc. but you get my point.I went to these for a few months before.90% is overpriced junk and then there might be a few gems with multiple people bidding on them with cash.Many times here it works better for it to foreclose and get the bank down real low in price as an REO instead.
