The interesting thing on OKC short term rentals is there was a recent report where a city official or councilman was interviewed and actually stated that they did not have the staff to police unlicensed airbnb units in the city.

And now that I'm (mostly) retired, I get to come here to the forums and see post after post whining about Contractors.I used to figure it took 100 hrs to put together a good proper bid, I mean a tight number that would not be deviated from.....if you count all the trips to meet subs, and all the office time, material take-offs, Etc...And then half the time the client would go with a lowball number from a questionable contractor or someone unlicensed.

however there is a reason states are cracking down on it  ( at least un licensed actiivty)I mean just read the regs in virtually any state.A license is required if for compensation you are bringing a buyer and seller together.. of course there is all sorts of interpretations on this.
