For instance, if you had the million, invested some of it in the deal that required accreditation, and then the stock market fell or you put some of the remainder into a primary residence, so that you no longer meet the net worth requirement, does some alarm go off and they suddenly hand you your money back and show you the door?

They don't really care if it's you or Joe Schmo from Kentucky that closes on the property, as long as it closes. . they usually are not alarmed with the and/or assigns tag.

The first sheet of paper had basic information about the unit (alarm code, using the A/C, etc.) along with addresses/basic directions for the closest grocery stores...restaurants within walking distance...transportation info...cab company phone #'s...phone #s for food deliveries, etc.

As far as landlord entry, if it were me, I'd find some sort of private motion alarm, one that has a programmable visitor code so they don't have to give the landlord the permanent code, and let him know he needs to contact them for an updated visitor code whenever he is coming in if they will not be home.
