Like many of you, owning Real Estate is part of my plan for long term wealth creation, but I've been stuck in a rut of just pure knowledge consumption for the last 3 years without any real moves. 

That is nothing but propaganda to effect social engineering for good renter creation. 

Hi ZZ, you can start with (1) Landlord friendly states, (2) Population growth/migration patterns (3) Job creation...

Local Job creation (in my mind, if job creation is greater than population increase, that's also a good thing?)

This is what covers you against any liens on the property.Be sure you understand the contract, especially if its one of their own creation.

@Heath DonnaldWhat you did is incorrect and a little bit messy.The owner of the property(whoever is on title - you or you and your spouse) should be making the payments for materials/rehab/etc.Your purpose for creating the LLC was liability protection - you should consult with your attorney but you likely didn't take the proper steps to get the liability protection afforded by the creation of the LLC

You have an impressive portfolio on paper, and that can serve as a hedge against other investments, but as a wealth creation vehicle for daily living, these buildings leave much to be desired.

More importantly, I am looking for like-minded individuals to meet up with and share knowledge, experiences, successes and failures with to increase my chances of strong wealth creation in this business.

The creation of wealth is an attitude not just a niche.
