If the deal and sponsor are good then the tax benefits are the icing on the cake.

They want to eat the cake without making it.

If you become a naughty borrower, such as if you don't pay your property taxes or maintain homeowner's insurance, they will still want that due on sale clause available as their "icing on the cake" when/if they go after you.Everything in lending is about risk.

It started with heavy rain that you could not see more than a few feet in front of you, then really strong side winds where you literally felt the car swaying, and when the hail started hitting the car that was like icing on the cake.
