Too many days of freezing in the michigan winter hammering nails and standing on a six inch wall 20 feet up trying to guide trusses that are swinging from a crane & hoping the winter wind don't send you on a quick trip down while the builder sits warmly in his brand new truck talking on his phone.

Some major employers have put on hiring freezes, and oil/gas prices have finally affected buying.  

They simply freeze the credit in a negative state until the plan is discharged from completion ( usually 3 years or so).

just seems like some wild crazy stuff is going to happen with currencies soon and when that does the bond market will freeze up fast.

The plumbing issue that Julie is referring to happened during the deep freeze of 20 below temps for weeks in Indy, and pipes were bursting all over town. 

My units in PA had pipes freeze this winter and I got to thinking: Why deal with this if I don't HAVE to?  

Grass and weeds tend to grow in between pavers, you need to shovel and salt in the winter (especially in Chicago) and due to the freeze-thaw cycle the pavers tend to creep, move, bend and look unsightly after a short time (the frozen water expands, shifting the pavers around and out of alignment during the winter) All-in-all, I would imagine its a bit of a hassle, especially if people tend to enter through the garage. 

Because of the whole buying freeze, it looks like more and more people are getting desperate to sell, which will mean dramatic price drops.

Your PSA should have something saying you can assign your interest to an entity controlled by you (at least we do that in commercial).However, FHA/HUD/allgovt loans are notorious for having to have the exact paperwork (I swear they have people that freak out if something is not EXACT and will just freeze the whole process).
