You can get pretty specific, but I would also say we would need to see what you personally would want in a home/location for your personal use, but my suggestions would be:1) Boise Bench (Great access for STR- Airport/Hospitals/Central Location) 2) North End ("Old town" feel, great atmosphere, but pricey) 3) Caldwell (Indian Creek Plaza is growing exponentially, and College of Idaho- most affordable option) 

I have been active duty Army for about 11 years here.

After 1.5 weeks, the only bite I have is from a couple who are Section 8 through the Indian Tribe.

We have one of the largest Army bases in Ft Bliss, which depending on where you purchase may attract additional tenants who are stationed here for a few years.

it doesn't matter where, what you need is :1. friendly contractor2. friendly gc3. friendly  sub-conwhen you have all these three, you have the army. spoil your contractor as much as possible so they are not running away from you.

Doncha think high profile lawsuits involve armies of lawyers on both sides?

Hi I have a friend in Tennessee who bought a home near an army base and has been relocated.

My experience as an aviation officer in the US army has given me the skills to, manage, problem solve, influence, coordinate and make on the spot decisions.

This lowers your obligation and ratios when applying for other financing and in the event of a cash crunch, you're only obligated to pay the lower amount.There is a time and circumstances where an ARM is the better option.

I am not saying it wouldn't be a good investment, but it doesn't have the name recognition some of the others in that area do (Clearwater, Bradenton, Anna Maria, Indian Rocks)... probably not the price either.
