If you don't allow them to paint, you have a much better shot at just going over some touch up areas and maybe doing a few rooms only.The nice thing is that if you don't allow smoking, you can typically get away with repainting a room with the same color without having to cut anything in.Just roll it up to an inch or two from the ceiling and an inch or two from the trim and you won't be able to tell if you use the right paint (tan).

As far as paint color goes I'd try to get a 1 inch square piece of the custom color paint and take it to Home Depot and have them mix it.
