Not one time has the existence of my license even entered into the conversation except that I disclose it in my PPMs (which, by the way, does nothing but enhance my credibility).Off-topic, but since it was mentioned several times above, I don't take commissions on my multifamily acquisitions.

Crazy,,, you need a better grasp of accounting... any payment goes towards arrears.. so any rent that you credited towards June should have been towards May's balance..Simply give them another pay or quit,, NOT 30 day's it's your state landlord laws you should check.. but 3 days is the usual.. if no payment you file usually by the 7th for eviction.They have you wrapped around their pinkie and you need to get a better grip and take charge of your bookkeeping methods and confronting people that owe you money..
