If that money arrives in the correct amount by the due date for that rent then she has fulfilled her obligation, no matter who's name is on the check.

Bonding is a seperate financial instrument where another company basically takes on the financial responsibility of you fulfilling the law or a contract.

If they are telling the owner they will buy the house knowing they can get more for it (by assigning) they aren't fulfilling their obligations as a realtor.
