My quick observation, unless you're a GC building on flat land I think you're $100-$150 Psf low on your hard construction costs for your expected price range; and that's before architectural, engineering, or other soft costs.The only part of town (LA region) that's achieving $1400 psf and has flat lots would be the flats of Beverly Hills, maybe ocean view portions of Pacific Palisades...Good luck.

@Kamal Andrawis Prices will vary greatly depending on site conditions style of architecture finishes etc. the minimum will probably be $150 a square foot and can go up to $500 a square foot depending on what you build.As @Geordy Rostad said a builder will not be able to give you a firm estimate without complete plans and specifications but they can tell you what their current projects are costing and what you can expect for different levels of finish etc.

@Daniel Adler PM sent, I'd love to hear more about your project.One thing that you will definitely find about Architecture is that there is no "Set Price" for anything... $3,500 - $42,000 is definitely a Huge swing, but that just means you need to ask "What am I getting for my money".
