The principal carried me out to actually following through each day I had a class session, especially that here in NYC it's a 75-hour course plus all the nights of studying.

There is a FREE landlording meeting this Thursday, May 26th, at Tommy's Pizza on Dublin-Granville (between Sawmill and Riverside) that features education (a Q&A session geared to newbies for general real estate investing and landlording as well as a featured speaker) and networking and has a good mix of newbies and experienced investors.

My ideas for future sessions would include some brief "pitch your deal" talks and a short "golden nugget" piece of information of value to the group.

No money spent learning and growing is wasted :)Good to know that they’ve got STR specific sessions too.

I've seen this come up in some planning sessions so I would recommend consulting with your tax advisor as there are pro's and con's to dealer status for flippers.

It took a mentor to sit me down and tell me that I make over a hundred dollars an hour for every therapy session I did and that I could work one extra hour a month providing therapy and I could pay for someone else to mow the yard at my property for a month and I could save myself 3 hours and a lot of frustration trying to mow the lawn with an old, broken down lawn mower.
