I started getting interested in real estate my senior year of high school when I forgot a book for my English class and picked a random one of the shelf of my sports marketing class.

I'm 30 and graduated with my DPT in the end of 2009, my wife has degrees in graphics design and english. 

After speaking with her, she sounded like an older Russian lady that spoke very good English but was pretending she didn't understand the numbers to work a better deal.A Week before closing the wholesaler calls me and tells me he does not want to deal with the lady anymore because she keeps asking for a discount to take care of the problems in the house (some plumbing and cabinets needed to be replaced, est. $4,500).

I switched my major to English Lit (my Dad's girlfriend talked him out of cutting off funding).

I posted a year or so ago when a “friend/neighbor” wholesaled his barely English speaking neighbors’ dilapidated trailer house and made 16k on the 60k deal.

My legal-to-English translation of the purchase contract is "we won't guarantee anything, we don't know anything, we won't pay for anything, good luck."
