We attended the than Merrill workshop and yes a lot of good information but if were going to be honest they are a business and they make a lot of money on people buying their products so they won’t give away any others that’s could help newbies out.Is wholesaling a good way to get started?

Hey me and my dad are wanting do this whole real estate thing we are about to go to than merrills real estate workshop for 3 days and I seen some.posts that said it would be better to find a pro what's the best way to look for a mentor in my area I live in riverside california and we really don't have the money to pay for than expensive course any advice on finding someone in my area or maybe some free resources  any info is greatly appreciated really

After completing my due diligence on him and his company, I have come to the conclusion that he is an expert in the Land Trust field, is very knowledgable, and unlike the typical gurus, he is not selling $3000 workshops, products, or bootcamps.

Last Night I attended my first local REI meeting and Paul Esajian was the speaker.He is one of the guys on “ Flip this house†( the New Haven team ) I stopped watching The show a few years back , It was so fake and set up , maybe its changed ill have to watch a few and see for myself, hears a link to some of the Controversy behind this program http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flip_This_House_(TV_series)For the most part it was interesting, learned a thing or two, the ONE thing I really was interested in was in his rehab break down in cost , ( like mentioned above ) That really looked good and I would love to have that, for the price ,$1200 im still considering it.He also had an option on the 4 day workshop along with 2 of the courses for I think it was $2600 ?
