I was sued once because a tenant invited me (in writing, via text) to her workplace (citing transportation issues) to pick up a rent check.

So I have a good paying job right now in auto sales for Honda but I’ve always wanted to try real estate and my current workplace is going through management Changes which will result in some people getting moved around to other dealerships so I am strongly considering making my transition into Real estate if I have to learn new material for a different Auto Make anyway.

I am not a part of a traditional "team" but I work closely with a collective of local eXp agents, we help each other with showings when people go out of town, meet in person monthly to discuss what's going on, and chat almost daily via eXp's provided Workplace platform.I could go on about all the training opportunities, virtual campus, support, tech, and so on, but you've probably heard about that already. 

There is a credit union near my workplace and I am going to have the conversation. 

There is a management strategy at medium to large companies for which managers/execs who own/can afford expensive-looking cars should avoid driving them to the workplace.

I am attempting to lay out my financial path to semi-retirement (i.e. leaving my current w2 for something less time consuming/more enjoyable) within 10 years or less.I can identify my family's spending now and what I project after semi-retirement, which I have done for the most part BUT that part of working backward and laying out milestones to achieve x number of properties or cash flow or equity, all the while maintaining a proper amount of contribution in my workplace retirement plan and other tax adv/def approaches.I imagine i'd need a tax resource and a financial advisory resource, both of whom are knowledgeable on the notion of 1) real estate and 2) retirement planning before traditional age.
