As a rental property owner, I am currently more concerned about rental rates and employment opportunities for my tenants than values as I can stomach some "paper loss" of equity given I don't intend to sell anytime soon.

You can buy properties from DM but you need to be perpared for a lot of rejection and have the stomach to continue to mail. 

I am all for someone going "All in" as long as they can stomach it.

Admins are admins and generally don't have the stomach for a irregular paycheck.

Many people don't have the stomach for dealing directly with tenants.

But I don't have the pockets or the stomach to try that again right now.That experience is what drove me toward notes.  

My wife had stomach ache when we left the property so I know that's the main reason this house is still on the market.

Our stomach dropped hearing this when we first heard it from the tenant so we can only imagine what you were feeling.Alarms and fake dome cameras are a deterrent.

He stuck to his guns and didn't get the lot. 2 years down the road he is sick to his stomach because he thinks the lot is worth about 70K, and he quibbled over a few thousand.I know your situation is different, but if your numbers are right (your time and holding cost included), and you will really make 8k, you might consider it.

If you can't stomach getting a real job as it is, find something you want to do and work toward being able to do it.
