Whenever my kids show an interest in something productive, I try to use that opportunity to teach them a skill that they can take with them.

I’m looking to get started at using my people and negotiation skills in the market fully, I’m hunting for properties in the UK that can be hidden gems or fixer uppers, with a keen eye for architecture and a clear understanding of value and use I’m thoroughly analysing websites and in person sites for good deals.

I think the greatest take away for me is to be Focused on what you want and Networking is your greatest tool (and my weakest skill).

But, you need to understand the intensity, time commitment, capital needed, and skill set required.  

If you need help developing skills, changing your mindset around money, educating yourself on evaluating and choosing investments, or learning how to create passive income, it's okay if you can't figure it out on your own.

Take a break from larger multifamily acquisitions for now, as they may not align with your current capacity or risk tolerance.Whatever you choose, know that setbacks are part of the journey, and you’ve already gained skills and insights to make smarter, more deliberate moves moving forward.

There are countless episodes on the various strategies as well as some of the soft skills you will need as an investor.

There's no one size fits all approach to real estate investing and depending on your resources, skill set, and capabilities you may excel in one particular market or utilizing a specific strategy whereas another investor will excel using a different approach.  

And put those CPA skills to work!
