After reading up on some of the local news stories and resources on this topic, I'm more convinced than ever that these are issues local investors, homeowners and politicians will need to educate themselves on and take action on quickly... 

And the politician that gives out the most "free" stuff will be the one that continues to win elections. 

People need to stand up to these "activist" politicians!

This is nothing more than the ultra liberal politicians that are currently in control bribing the voters to keep them in control.

I like all 3 of those states, I think they have terrific politicians in all of them that will steer the states the right way, attracting more employers and employees.

A politician might find a way to leverage some favor out of this but that’s about it.

It's impossible that your politicians have less common sense than the ones here in NY do.  

I wouldn't want to be the politician standing before the American people and running for election, or re-election, with "Hey don't worry guys, you can totally trust the mortgage division of Wells Fargo to do the right thing, they've never betrayed that trust in the past!"

That's something politicians didn't consider.

Politicians throughout history have made promises that they cannot possibly keep in order to get elected to office.
