Hi Audrey,I’m not sure where that information came from, but as a lender, we consistently help out-of-state investors purchase and refinance properties in Texas.

You need to work with a lender that will utilize STR 1007 Data and/or AirDNA Income on a REFI.Tough deal but we do this consistently.

We service the entire coast and consistently plan efficient physical and remote tours encompassing several cities or regions. - Property Management: No STR can be successful without quality cleaners and management.

if you know your stuff and know how to deliver a message and network by being consistent enough you will always close deals!  

For the few that don't/can't refinance, we would sell the note, likely at a discount, but considering they would have been paying for 5 years consistently at that point that would make it a very attractive for most note investors.

If you consistently analyze properties, recognizing a good deal will be much easier when it shows up.
