at least i dont remember reading that you do. i am with you, but ever since we had a boy last year, i feel guilty for not being home with him.the problem is that i even fix the houses mostly myself and that's why my wife does not want to get another one. she knows i will be mentally and phisically gone from home for 2 months.i just dont trust contractors and since i do not get deals like you guys (below market prices), i need to pinch every penny after paying MLS prices.

The reason for this is that if you ever get in a pinch and have to sell, you don't want to be underwater and if you are underwater and you have to sell and you don't have the cash to cover the loss, well...that's how foreclosure happens.Most all markets in the US have returned, and even exceeded in many cases, the high price mark from before the crash.
