That's patently false, right in your own state.As far as your claim about California, try reading the regulations before making things up.  

Back in the day that scam was on the back of Tempur-Pedic patents on memory foam and 200-400% retail markups in mattress stores complicit in the biz of selling the same mattresses under wildly different names for years.

I used a lot of my savings putting myself through law school finishing 5 years ago, passed the bar and have been working as a patent attorney for the last 5 years.

In CA the local superior courts are so booked up with billion dollar antitrust, patent lawsuits, they are 6+months behind.

I also look under sinks and behind toilets for leaks and if I notice anything patently unsafe or blatantly against the lease I make them aware of it.
