When there is something agreed to in writing it reduces the chance of "he said, she said", hurt feelings, misunderstandings, etc.

Hi David,Just to clear up the misunderstanding, by "get title insurance," I meant pay for it.And, in fact, seven years ago when I made the original post in this thread, it mattered a lot which title company one used.

It’s the clueless people that make those websites.Maybe I’m misunderstanding you, are you saying 70% of those numbers ?

The more people you have, the more room there is for misunderstandings. 

Insurance also doesn’t protect you from misunderstandings, especially those made in writing and email.
