Lenders would most likely approve something like this for a military/veteran married couple or a syndicate with contracts in place.

I'm grandfathered into USAA because my wife's grandfather was in the military and it just got passed down so I know some military programs are like this.

If you're receiving any military pension or social security income, we can use that as qualifying income as well.

As long as the military doesn't have any prohibition on you having a house/apartment as your "residence", then I don't see any reason you couldn't.
