heheI'm bias and have always loved Toledo.In all honesty, bit of a boring place and market.Not much to do for someone like me.Granted, growing up in Sydney, Australia and then moving to Toledo, Ohio is more than just a culture shock hehe.Who said you have to "live, where you invest" anyway?

I'm in one of those "appreciation buying" regions, but to be honest, I don't know a single successful investor here that isn't also putting a lot of rent money in their pocket every month.

Honesty is the best path in business and in life.

We have never used any lenders, we've never considered doing a JV project, or being a retail investor (I have to be honest, I don't even know what that means!!)

Stay focused, continue to educate investors, and always prioritize honesty and integrity in your interactions.

As Pratik P. mentioned, honesty and sincerity are key.

To be honest, I don't love management because you then manage the different owner personalities involved, so I'm very slow to take on just anyone's property to manage.
