Most jurisdictions have adopted ABA Model Rule 7.3 which makes it an ethical violation.As for the reason some clients want CPA's who have real estate investments themselves, CPA's can be experts in all kinds of things but not in all things.

This should give you an idea that your business model is outdated, and you lost your competitive advantage.

Because it's my money, I care more (I get 92% of the revenue, PM only 8%, and PM team member near 0%), I only had my units to manage (PM team member has other owners and units), and, with humility, I am smarter and harder working than the team members assigned to my portfolio (3rd party PM has to hire at a level that makes the business model financially work for them). 

I mean look at Brandon Turner he is now moved to the Training model.. its a very natural progression for those that have huge SM following and in Brandons case very real public perception of a RE Expert.

Personally I don't think this lends itself well to the fund model. 

Hi All, my names Josh, I'm a kiwi living in the UK building the portfolio with a unique business model which brings into other investors into a compoinding model with both Capital and perpetual returns.i have a well developed process and network here in the UK and New Zealand, wanting to explore the US market.

Most institutions are opposed to bitcoin since it a) competes with their business model, and b) they haven't figured out how to make money off of it yet.But most importantly, why would any investor accept payment in a currency that has such high fluctuation? 

(P.S If you have any leads on properties that allow this business model in the area, contacts that are open for mentoring, and so on feel free to PM me) As an owner I can tell you what I don't like:  Please don't ask if you allow "corporate leasing".  

Now that the unit is finished, it's going to be listed for $2,450/month and the same model on similar lots are appraising for $410k.

I have three right now that its time to get rid of as they do not fit our model nor do I want to take the time to continue to manage these (even with a PM).
