My 4 unit is in a neighborhood where rents are exploding, close to shopping, restaurants, and a job corridor.  

Hey all,I'm considering investing in a downtown district i just know is about to explode.

"Although the working poor of New York would explode into the worst riot of American history in 1863, these people did not provide the cutting edge of labor protest in the antebellum era. 

But the upstate is exploding. 

I'm currently house hacking a two family home in Union County, New Jersey but I'm looking to ramp up my portfolio while focusing on 2-4 unit properties in or around the Newark / Harrison area (I have a hunch this market is set to explode).I'm looking forward to adding value to the community by not only posting about my experiences but also by offering accounting & bookkeeping guidance to those with questions as I also own my own consulting firm with a focus on real estate investors.  

I have one property in Mission that we are rehabbing and I'm watching the neighborhood explode with houses  getting offers within hours to a couple days with full price offers to boot!  

The number of investors in Charleston is exploding.  

The rents seem atrocious, and I read from other forum posts that they are exploding all over, so am not sure what direction to take at this point.Thanks!
