I’ve posted on this relentlessly...For a couple of properties, insurance and umbrella policy should be enough.Don’t forget that LLC’s are not eligible for conforming residential loans should you decide to refi...You also need to operate the LLC as a separate entity to maintain/protect its corporate veil otherwise you’ve defeated the purpose.

same as with the upfront mortgage fee which honestly in my opinion can sort of defeat the purpose of the slightly lower 3.5% down (or just compensates for it perhaps).Hope this helps.

All purchases and payments need to go through the LLc account for LLC stuff, otherwise you are 'co-mingling' and defeating why you opened an LLC in the first place.

Borrower should never pay any money out of their pocket for rehab on a 203k, because doing so actually defeats the main purpose of using a 203k, which is wrapping the rehab cost into the loan and using that extra money to pay the contractors.
