The Honeywell 9000 color touchscreen thermostats are very user friendly and have 2 different levels of locking the controls.I recommend these over any other thermostat.

STR in those areas do well year round because of fall colors and ski resorts and snow mobiling if they are on a lake, but on the flip side you are paying significant more because they serve dual purpose.

A good painter can Spray pretty good if he has the proper tip , good quality paint, and at least 100 jobs done prior to yours.So many factors involved,  are you protecting the flooring,  changing colors a lot lots of repairs done prior?

I've tried it and been screwed with it more than once.Bathrooms get semigloss light blue, kitchens get this semigloss light orange/salmon color that we like, living areas get a light gray that doesn't fade easily.Over time, you see the white oil paint, anywhere it's in the dark and not exposed to sunlight , with yellow and darken.
