@John Hyre and @Jon HoldmanI know people say it’s a “contribution” or “excess contribution” however with Iras contributions have to be made in currency.

It is tougher when California or similar will take reduced yields to purchase and do not have the currency conversion loss the Canadians do.For me to work with foreign clients these days they have to have researched all the taxes, withholding,financing,return issues and be realistic about the numbers.

@Jeremy Turner, Ya, i have been very cautious with what i want to do with my savings, i have been kinda crushed a little lately with the downtrend in crypto as i had been investing that way and been doing great for over a year, but right now im just holding for the swing back up (hopely), most of my bitcoin was valued around the 9k mark so im down about 30%, but i do have some alt coins that are offsetting that amount greatly, so im nearly balanced out on what i have into crypto, so i could get out now and probably break even, but i have hopes of it heading north again.

I can easily get that here in the US without the political and currency risk.Now if you could show I would have 10% yield with a likely 100% valuation pop in a couple years, that gets more interesting.
