Nope.Because Americans are compassionate people when it comes to the health of other Americans?

TONS of great information, but especially loved the idea of notes investing as not only profitable, but also an ethical endeavor—Actually going into it with the goal of keeping people in their homes by dealing with them compassionately rather than going into it with the goal of foreclosing.

And the lender is so compassionate they’re worried about what you’ll do with the empty land and a bag of money?  

If you feel like being compassionate and they're great tenants then you could increase to something that's less than market but gives you some increase.

You can be compassionate with them without getting emotionally involved.

Some people consider it compassionate investing, and it can actually help a neighborhood turn around.

I DID know the answer to the question before I wrote the post, I HAVE been too nice and compassionate and fearful, and I AM being walked all over - But given that I had learned so much from your guys' assistance, none of that is the case anymore.

I am happy camper…I have gone to the house couple of times, took pictures, sat at the table, had a conversation, I was sympathetic, compassionate etc..tried to do everything so that they like me and perceive me as an employee of some evil, greedy corporation.

I think there's a good blend of being compassionate with very clear boundaries, but it's not natural to many people.
