I sucked up about 6 full shop vac buckets, dumping it manually out at the street storm drain then rushing back for more, battling the rising tide of chocolate milk, floating turds and tampons until the plumber showed up to clear the line.

Relatively new to the area and want to meet people, this is a good way to start. If it were me in this situation, I would call up the promoters of the event and ask (as a new guy) if I could bring a grocery store cake and have them announce our new member Christopher brought everyone a welcome gift of a big chocolate cake....Maximum expose for you, at the first meeting for a few bucks, and meetings 2 3 and 4 you are a known person--the cake guy, making conversation easier and more to the point.Just my 2 cents.
