For us in Chicago with section 8 units..if a tenant cakes her stove with grease and unit stops working it is on the owner to address and owner will fail CHA inspections.5.

So now CHA enforcerment is also involved.

I would also look into getting your certificate through AHLEI and get your CHA.

@David Cha It can depend on the insurance that you are getting and what the policy may allow.
