Hello BP,I'm looking for some references in Connecticut, ideally in Central CT/Hartford County area, that can advise me on the tax implications for flipping properties, what to expect and maybe some strategies to prepare myself for tax season.  

Remember even in the New Hartford area they are bargains to be had.

Maybe Meriden, Bristol, East Hartford, Middletown.

From the figures you gave us in your post it sounds like you are in the southern part of the state, or any very expensive areas of Hartford county? 

@Hadley Hartford HornigHey Hadley,I don’t know much about how to find developers but to find flippers in a area you can just go to the regular home buying and selling sites like Zillow and start searching for recently sold homes, you want to find the ones that were renovated and most of the time flippers stage their homes so if the pictures look nice and the home looks staged most likely it was a flipper.

I looked at newburgh NY Hartford, new haven, Kingston, Poughkeepsie, Yonkers, Bridgeport, Bronx. ...I looked a bit in Brooklyn too but I wanted to buy a lot of houses....

Are there any groups in the Hartford county area that meet regularly?

I am going to keep working hard into finding out what will best work in the city of Hartford.

My sister lives near Milwaukee in Hartford. 

Hartford area is picking up a little but overall, CT has been much slower to recover than much of the rest of the country.
