Elon Musk said it well: everyone thinks owning a business is fun (like being Tony Stark style) until you find out the you have to deal with the toughest issues nobody else in the company was able to figure out, now they are your problem robbing your sleep..

Add to this that the stock market returns are not guaranteed and vary dependent on uncontrollable events in companies (think Elon Musk smoking a joint on Joe Rogans podcast causing stock of Tesla to dive).With this being said, I feel that a 8-10% return is more than adequate for personal lending.

@Ron McGriffI agree with everyone who says that Temple/Killeen will likely never be a satellite of Austin/Dallas unless Elon Musk gets his weird hyper fast subway tunnel built but even then it is unlikely. 

And since I drive a Tesla I have heard of Musk using twitter talking about buying his stock back and taking It private.. 

Musk lived in one, heck maybe still does, and bragged up how it was only $50k.
