@Elizabeth Colegrove I've talk to a couple of banks about equity lines but they seem to only want to go to 50% total LTV on investments and I would say the property is woth $170k and I owe $80k so we would be talking $10k max

Elizabeth Colegrove is definitely someone you should talk to, I also recommend listening to her podcast.If I was in the military or lived near a base, there is no question I would be in for the strategy of renting class A-B single family homes to officers.
