Granted, the owner was a total slumlord and refused to repair anything, but I'm confident that a large part of the issue with the bugs was caused by the tenants themselves.

Most people commute to the suburbs for work with the average travel time being 1 hour to 2 hours.

Also older mobile homes do not travel well. 

2/1s  and 1/1s are great for travel medical professionals and digital nomads. 3/1s are a lot tougher to rent as MTRs.
