I've avoided making offers on them up until now, because I was worried the maintenance would be a pain in the neck, but I'm missing out on some good deals by not making offers on them.

If it is on a pitched roof, it can be quite a chore to muscle it up. 

I was going to go to one last week but it was NE of downtown LA and would have taken me 90 minutes one way...I travel a lot back and forth between FL and CA, but would be down to try organize something in our neck of the woods when I'm in CA.

I am hoping to do some BRRR in that neck of the woods.
