If you have more of your VA availability left you may have options outside of a primary residence to use the loan as a benefit of your service to our country.

If you have a small and/or basic unit I think it could be looked at as optional. 

Overall I'd be transparent with the plan and give them a few options.

Again though, as a CPA I let the attorneys work with clients and determine what is best as the DIY options might leave you with a void that renders the LLC (or any entity for that matter) set up ineffective and useless.

Before focusing on out-of-state options, you may want to survey your backyard a bit.

I think your goals are valid and exploring alternate options is a great idea.

Many people on contract work would appreciate having exercise options, but with access to gyms nationwide being so affordable now, I wouldn’t sacrifice the look of your rental for a treadmill or elliptical.

May still be best option.

Refinancing out of this interest rate to a lower one could be difficult currently but its a potential option in the future months.

If you prefer less hassle and lower monthly payments on the new home, selling might be the better option.
