My name is Julian Sibley, I came across the BiggerPockets community through a friend who recommended the podcast.I work as a mortgage lender in the Everett, WA area and I am a recent college graduate.I was born and raised in a dairy family in Snohomish, WA which is what I attribute my work ethic to as well as my love for the outdoors.

I don't know any successful investors who have attributed any part of their success to RD, other than perhaps motivation to get started.And from what I've heard from those who have attended RD training seminars, it's basically just motivational fluff with a high price tag.

This is largely attributed to low interest rates, which have prompted investors to look for higher yields.

So I'm attributing me not getting into it before as I still had a lot to learn.

I got a bit frustrated with the hoops I had to jump through, but I attribute that to the fact that my lender (who I work with frequently and love) was marketing the product as if he had experience and it turned out this was his first Homestyle loan.  

How much of the net worth is attributed to the value of their home?  

@Shiloh Lundahl   very subjective topic and coincidentally every reply will be a subjective opinion but what that said each outcome depends on the person in the drivers seat and the unique attributes and qualities that make up that person be it positive or negative.

I attribute a big part of my personal development to that part of my college experience.

There are 3 attributes that relate to contractors: Cheap FastReliable Unfortunately, you can only get two of the three with any given contractor...Personally, I prefer the fast and reliable combo, even if it costs me a little more.
