I am a 10 year Navy veteran who will be finishing up my degree in Finance this summer.  

I've sort of been all over the world - grew up in Moscow, Russia, moved to San Diego when I was 15, served in the US Navy in Japan for 6 years and now am back to San Diego.I currently run an online business from home and have free time that I want to dedicate to learning more about real estate and expanding my investments.

Expensive coastal markets and owner-occupancy rules look like they're going to prevent me from using the VA loan too aggressively (at least initially with my time in the Navy) which is what's driving me to considering BRRRRing back home in the Midwest after the first property.Really appreciate the book recommendation too.
